When scripture is music to our soul
CHRIST IS OUR SAVIOR FROM SIN.

Let it be understood, “to seek first the Kingdom of God is to seek first THE WISDOM of God. However, for us to have God reveal His wisdom to us, we must first seek THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in our hearts, thoughts, lives and actions. Then He freely blesses us with the spiritual wisdom we need for proper discernment of spiritual truths.”
(Proverbs 3:13-18 and 1 Thess 5:17-23)
Proverbs 1:7, “Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.“ (nlt)
If we look closely, we would realize how different translations help us apply these concepts to our own spiritual journey of Christ and how to better understand the depths of God’s infinite wisdom.
Proverbs 1:7, ”We cross the threshold of true knowledge when we live in obedient devotion to God. Stubborn know-it-alls will never stop to do this, for they scorn true wisdom and knowledge.“ (tpt)
It’s also very important to understand how correction or discipline by God (and people) might also be perceived as challenges or necessary guidance, so you can grow deeper roots into scriptural application. That is ‘IF’ someone chooses to perceive the intent behind the action as positive.
(Job 2:10 and 5:17-19)
The truth is, “knowledge” is merely a “game” until the Lord gives you wisdom and then Wisdom from God is the only thing you want to “GAIN” because it’s eternally beneficial. Knowledge however, is more like temporarily justified thoughts or memorized ideas without comprehension.
To understand how to apply the above statements. I believe speaking of Spiritual Warfare tactics (Eph 6:12) and awareness daily with your family and friends is VERY HEALTHY for us to understand the reality of our unseen battles against sin. I also believe those type of conversations with ANYONE allows the currently blind (to their own sinful nature) to begin having their minds righteously transformed and given an opportunity to allow the ‘Holy Spirit’ to do what the Holy Spirit does best.🙂
As far as claiming victory over sin. I believe this becomes true in our lives when we don’t have time for sinful thoughts or sinful things because our priorities are consumed with meditating over scripture. That’s where this statement might be useful. 🙂 “When scripture is music to your soul CHRIST (or the truth that sets you free from sin) IS YOUR SAVIOR.”
(John 8:31-36 and Gal 5:1-2)
“WISDOM CALLS THE PURE HEARTED”
Proverbs 8:6-17, ”Listen to me! For I have important things to tell you. Everything I say is right, for I speak the truth and detest every kind of deception. My advice is wholesome. There is nothing devious or crooked in it. My words are plain to anyone with understanding, clear to those with knowledge. Choose my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge rather than pure gold. For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with it. “I, Wisdom, live together with good judgment. I know where to discover knowledge and discernment. All who fear the Lord will hate evil. Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech. Common sense and success belong to me. Insight and strength are mine. Because of me, kings reign, and rulers make just decrees. Rulers lead with my help, and nobles make righteous judgments. “I love all who love me. Those who search will surely find me.“ (nlt)
Unfortunately, “when a lover of God gives in to wickedness and compromises their integrity, it can be compared to contaminating a stream with sewage or polluting a drinking fountain with poisonous water.“
The quote above is Proverbs 25:26
from “The Passion Translation”
with Spiritual Clarity for Application.
Ask yourself, how true is this?
Well, I believe Proverbs 25:26 includes both thought and action because the path to righteousness is very narrow and that is exactly why we need Jesus to keep our water refreshed and living, instead of muddy and unhealthy.
“TRUSTING IN THE LORD’S WISDOM”
Proverbs 3:1-12, ”My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart. If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying. Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones. Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. My child, DON’T REJECT THE LORD’S DISCIPLINE, and don’t be upset when He corrects you. For the Lord corrects those He loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom He delights.”
Proverbs 3:13-26, “Joyful is the person who finds WISDOM, the one who gains understanding. For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold. Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. She offers you long life in her right hand, and riches and honor in her left. She will guide you down delightful paths; all her ways are satisfying. Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her; happy are those who hold her tightly. By wisdom the Lord founded the earth; by understanding he created the heavens. By his knowledge the deep fountains of the earth burst forth, and the dew settles beneath the night sky. My child, don’t lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them, for they will refresh your soul. They are like jewels on a necklace. They keep you safe on your way, and your feet will not stumble. You can go to bed without fear; you will lie down and sleep soundly. You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.”
Proverbs 3:27-35, “Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them. If you can help your neighbor now, don’t say, “Come back tomorrow, and then I’ll help you.” Don’t plot harm against your neighbor, for those who live nearby trust you. Don’t pick a fight without reason, when no one has done you harm. Don’t envy violent people or copy their ways. Such wicked people are detestable to the Lord, but he offers his friendship to the godly. The Lord curses the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the upright. THE LORD MOCKS THE MOCKERS but is gracious to the humble. The wise inherit honor, but fools are put to shame!“ (nlt)
DO NOT BE PUT TO SHAME
‘FIND AND FOLLOW JESUS’
1 Corinth 1:30-31, ”God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made HIM TO BE WISDOM ITSELF. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin. Therefore, as the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord.” (nlt)

May God continue to enrich every one of you with His Wisdom as He does with me everyday because I absolutely love applying SCRIPTURE to my heart and my life.
In closing, let us ask ourselves, is our soul INDESTRUCTIBLE because the Holy Spirit made it INCORRUPTIBLE from the devil’s deception and generational religious or pagan lies? Let us pray this is true. Feel free to LISTEN to the lyrics of Jeremy Camp’s song, “Indestructible Soul” in this regard.

The Bible says,
Romans 8:33-38, ”Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.“ (nlt)
Even then, be encouraged to KEEP SEEKING GODLY INSIGHT and YOU’LL BE SURE TO FIND WISDOM FOREVER. IN JESUS NAME, AMEN 🙏
