To Pursue Jesus

“To pursue Jesus is to seek wisdom from the Bible and to follow His sacrificial heart of moral integrity, as we learn to be righteous in God’s eyes and we also stop trying to impress people who do not know God’s Love.”

(1 John 3)

I was once asked by a neighbor when I got this tattoo on my left arm. The answer is 2019 after it was fairly clear that I was in a lifelong pursuit of seeking first the kingdom of God and having Jesus help me fight my spiritual battles against sin and the devil’s deception. The truth is that I went all in for God’s Wisdom in 2016, even though I grew up in the church and was baptized by water a few times before. However, my whole life turned out to be a Baptism BY FIRE (Matthew 3:11-12) that wasn’t completed to a point of walking “the narrow path” until 2021. However, I’ve been fully surrendered to CHRIST since 2017 but still lost to sin in a lot of ways. Still, I will always consider myself a sinner in need of repentance because without repentance I would have never stopped sinning. So I REPENT by purifying my thoughts and actions EVERYDAY and ever since then THE LORD OF WISDOM and MORAL INTEGRITY has complete control of my future. If anyone didn’t know already JESUS IS MY SAVIOR from sin, Amen

This is why I encourage everyone to live an adventurous life for Christ when they are also set free from sin by following Jesus.

Your heart is Pure because it was broken. Your eyes are open because you’ve seen the destruction created by your own sins and the sins of others who were decieved by the devil. So when you want nothing more than God’s Grace. Seek Him and His ways above all else and you will surely see His face.

At some point He will REMOVE your desire for the things that have caused you so much PAIN. He will restore your integrity and bring peace to your BRAIN.

It will take time, so please have patience and then persevere to rid yourself of those deadly GAMES. He will restore you, rest assured, but only when pride is lost and you repent of your own wayward dismays.

His ways, however, are the greatest and most enriching adventure you will ever crave, so be encouraged because giving up sin has a much greater GAIN.

Don’t worry my brothers or sisters because you’ll never be anymore “Christian” than you were when you first believed.

The truth is, He loves you right now just as much as He loves you no matter your GOOD works and He treasures your repentance, so His standards can become your hearts desire.

POETIC as my efforts may have been amatuer at best, let’s get serious and explain what’s important to put a few lies to rest.

Protect your heart and seek what’s Good but never feel like you need to be “Righteous” to be accepted by God because WE will only be truly Righteous in heaven and be merely righteously seeking righteousness here on this physical Earth 🌍.

So, find JOY in the pain while discovering God’s TRUTH for yourself. Discover LOVE, WISDOM and PEACE by reading and meditating on His WORDS in the Bible. Then apply the GOOD lessons to your thoughts, actions and motives.

Here’s a thought,
what if you find a (so called) Christian who does NOT love you enough to ecourage or challenge your Spiritual Growth? .., Simple answer is to love them from a distance and ascend to your “new self” in Christ, ELSEWHERE. 🙂

Lastly, keep me in your prayers as well because we are all fighting our own Spiritual Warfare and I’m happy to call you my brother or sister in Christ. Especially when you’re just starting to follow Jesus and learning how to put on the full armor of God, so you too can battle with God’s Protection while Crushing Snakes of the self righteous and giving up bad habits or negative influences that the serpent has surrounded you by.

Lastly, always remember that the serpent is “the negative accusational voices” in your head and from others that hold you to a past that cannot be changed.

“You change you,” and God will do the rest to someday provide the peace and restoration that you desperately seek.

Also, rejoice when your financially broke because that’s when you find how “Purity of Heart” and “Strength of Soul” is worth more than anything this world has to offer.

So be encouraged to TRUST GOD who provides an everlasting HOPE when you seek HIS WAYS.

Matthew‬ ‭6:24‬, “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” (nlt)

With those thoughts in mind,
I believe it’s time to RISE up from the ASHES of hate from an UNGODLY world and fill our lives with LOVE for everyone, especially those who are doing God’s GOOD work.
